As the biohacker collective Quimera Rosa suggests, witches were “the most high-tech of their time”, already cyborgs embodying situated, corporeal knowledge and the ability to manipulate signs and matter. This lecture moves through artistic practices that operate as cyberwitchcraft, where artists draw on witchcraft traditions in both their poetics and modes of living to challenge technoscientific regimes and reclaim agency from below.
