Heath Bunting zeigt in seinem Status Project, wie leicht unsere Spuren verfolgt werden können, wenn wir unsere persönliche Daten wie Name, E-Mail, Adresse, Creditkarten-Nummern, Bankdaten und vieles mehr eingeben. Sei es beim Ansuchen einer Bahnkarte, einer Büchereimitglieschaft oder simpel beim Online-Shopen. Beim Zusammenführen und Kombinieren unterschiedlicher Datenbanken kann jeder Person ein bestimmter sozialer Status zugeschrieben werden, ohne diese Person zu kennen.
