Green Futures

If we see the natural world as a complex system of inter-relationships, where do we as humans stand? And how would we like to shape our role in the future?

This workshop is combining scenario thinking with the notion of deep ecology, inviting participants to speculate, in collaboration with others, about possible future scenarios, in which humans live in accordance with our living environment. We will use conditional design exercises as well hands-on making using mannequins and a variety of materials. The speculative objects resulting from the workshop will be shown in afo during AMRO18.

Who can participate? Everyone interested in talking and thinking about the future – makers, hackers, thinkers, fashion designers, futurists,… No prior knowledge required.
